विश्वविद्यालय अनुसंधान और कॉरेस्पॉन्डेंस कॉलेज, इसे एक रिसर्च, डिजिटल और डिस्टेंस कॉलेज के रूप में स्थापित किया गया है। विश्वविद्यालय अनुसंधान और कॉरेस्पॉन्डेंस कॉलेज का प्रबंधन यूनिवर्सिटी रिसर्च कॉर्पोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया द्वारा ओपन, डिस्टेंस रेगुलर (नॉन अटेंडिंग) और वोकेशनल शिक्षा और रिसर्च को बढ़ावा देने के लिए किया जाता है। यह संगठन ओपन/डिस्टेंस स्कूल शिक्षा के बोर्ड/परिषद द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त है तथा COBSE (काउंसिल ऑफ बोर्ड्स ऑफ स्कूल एजुकेशन इन इंडिया) का सदस्य है। साथ ही, यह राष्ट्रीय अल्पसंख्यक शैक्षणिक संस्थान आयोग (NCMEI) अधिनियम, 2004 की धारा 2(जी) एवं यूजीसी अधिनियम, 1956 की धारा 2(एफ) के अंतर्गत मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालयों से संबद्ध है।

University Research & Correspondence College managed by University Research Corporation of India to promote Open, Distance Regular ( Non Attending) and Vocational Education & Research. The Organization Recognized by The Board/Council of Open/Distance School Education are Member of COBSE & Section 2(G) of the National Commission for Minority Educational Institution, India (NCMEI) Act 2004 and Universities under section 2(f) UGC Act 1956.
